Abbie began her career with HBM architects as a summer intern on her way to achieving her master’s degree. She is important to the design process specifically in translating the client’s vision into a conceptual design and developing tools for project visualization through sketches, 3D renderings, and presentation quality drawings.

Abbie enjoys discovering clear and powerful design narratives through responsive exploration of the unique constraints encountered at the start of each project. The long lifespan of a building is something she respects when considering how a project will fit into the built environment experienced by following generations. She believes in architecture’s importance in shaping the future of communities and is inspired by libraries as a space with immense potential for social and cultural impact.
