CAITLIN VERKUILEN
ARCHITECT
----------------
Caitlin begins architectural design work by researching and analyzing the site and community at large before utilizing diagrammatic tools to help our team and our clients visualize potential, yet realistic, design concepts. She explores site parameters, community connections, and unique ideas for planning and organizing space while drawing inspiration from history, human behavior, and the natural environment.
Using a variety of design software, she actively assists the team by helping to evolve the design concept through schematic design, design development, and construction documents.Caitlin also contributes to our planning team by bringing an analytical approach to the process of gathering data, researching local history and demographic information, and compiling a succinct understanding of what makes each community and library unique.
