HUDSON LIBRARY &
This library embraces the Western Reserve architecture of the community. Exterior elements such as brick pilasters, strong gable forms, repeated brick arches, entablature banding, and cupolas, are all elements found in the historic architecture of the community. Patrons approach the classical forms of the building and pass through classically detailed spaces that lead to a dynamic central space. A very large glassy rotunda and tall glass filled children’s area open up to a new library green. The new library green is an extension of trails, stream and green space that weaves through the community.
