HBM Architects is an award-winning, Cleveland-based firm with a national practice focused on civic, library, and academic facilities. We are a design-oriented firm that works collaboratively with our clients to develop solutions that reflect their communities and campuses. Our project types include new construction, expansion / renovation, adaptive reuse, and historic buildings.


We are currently looking for a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented candidate with strong multi-tasking abilities to fill a new position. The ideal candidate will possess the following experience:


  • Background in Marketing with a marketing degree preferred.

  • Familiarity with the Architecture / Engineering / Construction Field (AEC) with preference going to candidates with direct experience in the AEC Field. 

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Successful interaction with both prospective and existing clients, consultants, and other team members

  • An understanding of the strategic use of social media

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Creating and editing content for qualifications and proposal documents

  • A good eye for graphics, colors, photograph selection, and page layouts

  • Willingness to put in the extra effort to accomplish tight deadlines

  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, and Microsoft Office is required.  

  • Comfortable with occasional public speaking

  • Wiliness to travel occasionally 


Responsibilities may include: 

  • Work closely with the firm principals to develop and maintain the image and national presence of the firm as experts in our field

  • Work closely with the marketing manager to accomplish goals and meet deadlines

  • Organizing submittals for design awards

  • Organizing and assembling responses to requests for qualifications and proposals

  • Supporting the development of presentations and other materials for project interviews

  • Supporting the maintenance of the firm’s website

  • Organizing and maintaining the firm’s social media presence

  • Supporting the development of materials for national and state conferences

  • Attending  / participating in state and national conferences

  • Supporting our firm's community and stakeholder engagement activities

  • Supporting the development of fundraising or promotional materials for our clients
