The Lorain Branch Library is an historic Carnegie library serving its neighborhood since 1912. The branch is well-used but the main entrance fronting Lorain Avenue does not currently address the surrounding neighborhood and patrons entering from West 83rd Street. This addition and renovation will improve that connection to its neighborhood and provide a fresh new modern library within the historic century old building.
